 Powerbond Race Performance Balancer The POWERBOND Race Series brings the advantages of bonded balancers to high revving race and street/race applications where an SFI approved balancer is required. Every Race Series POWERBOND balancer features a precision CNC machined AUSI 1045 forged steel hub bonded to an equally strong steel inertia ring. The steel inertia ring of the Race Series models is positively protected against forward and backward movement and has the assurance of bonded rubber to eliminate spinning. Every model has easy to read computer etched timing marks. Ford to add 1,200 jobs at Chicago plant to build 2011 Explorer
Mon, 25 Jan 2010Ford plans to add 1,200 jobs when it begins making the Explorer sport-utility vehicle later this year in Chicago. The announcement is expected Tuesday morning at the plant. Plans to bring the Explorer from Louisville, Ky., to the underutilized Chicago plant have been known for nearly a year.
BYD aims to bring electric vehicle to North America by 2011 or 2012
Mon, 12 Jan 2009Chinese firm BYD Auto is aiming to bring at least one electric vehicle to North America by 2011 or 2012, and is considering building an assembly plant in the United States, it said Monday at the Detroit Auto Show. The automaker showed the e6, an electric vehicle, and two other hybrid cars at the show. The e6 has room for five and has a range of 250 miles, BYD says.
